Meet the members of The Beauty Lounge team
Angela Close - Salon Owner
I have successfully owned/run The Beauty Lounge since 1993. I first started off working at The Last Drop Health & Beauty Spa. After completing a year there I started running my own little business above Hair Studio 336, where I rented a beauty room offering lots of different pampering treatments. After 6 years I moved across town into Premier Stores and rented 3 treatment rooms, the business grew and grew and it got to the stage where it was hard to accommodate the growing clientele, so I made the decision to move to where we are currently on Bark Street East. As soon I walked into the building, which is a Georgian property, I fell I love with the place! I knew instantly this was going to be my next venture. I envisaged every treatment room it wasn’t long before I purchased the property and it was mine. After that 6 months of renovations began to complete my dream salon. I still feel proud as punch that from starting off renting a little treatment room my business has gone from strength to strength with the help of amazing staff and a very loyal, large clientele. We are a Guinot appointed salon, and even though I do still do quite a lot of beauty treatments, 10 years ago I trained in colonic hydrotherapy - this is something I absolutely love doing as I get great job satisfaction from helping people to feel better.
Annabelle - Beauty Therapist
I have been working at the beauty lounge Bolton since 2019 and I plan to follow in my mother’s footsteps (Angela close) and take over in running the beauty lounge in the future.
I am currently in college, studying beauty therapy level 3 whilst also working in the salon providing treatments for clients, I am excited to gain all my qualifications and be able to offer all treatments at the salon. I love working at the beauty lounge, it’s so peaceful and has such a positive and uplifting atmosphere.
Katie - Beauty Therapist
Katie has worked in the Beauty industry for over 11 years, being fully trained in Guinot, Declèor, Elimis, Murad, micro blading and caci facial treatments. Her qualifications have allowed her to work in salons, 5 Star spas and also for herself.
She now applies her extensive knowledge to provide clients with the highest level of treatments.
