Angela Close - Salon Owner
I have successfully owned/run The Beauty Lounge since 1993. I first started off working at The Last Drop Health & Beauty Spa. After completing a year there I started running my own little business above Hair Studio 336, where I rented a beauty room offering lots of different pampering treatments. After 6 years I moved across town into Premier Stores and rented 3 treatment rooms, the business grew and grew and it got to the stage where it was hard to accommodate the growing clientele, so I made the decision to move to where we are currently on Bark Street East. As soon I walked into the building, which is a Georgian property, I fell I love with the place! I knew instantly this was going to be my next venture. I envisaged every treatment room it wasn’t long before I purchased the property and it was mine. After that 6 months of renovations began to complete my dream salon. I still feel proud as punch that from starting off renting a little treatment room my business has gone from strength to strength with the help of amazing staff and a very loyal, large clientele. We are a Guinot appointed salon, and even though I do still do quite a lot of beauty treatments, 10 years ago I trained in colonic hydrotherapy - this is something I absolutely love doing as I get great job satisfaction from helping people to feel better.
Annabelle - Beauty Therapist
I have been working at the beauty lounge Bolton since 2019 and I plan to follow in my mother’s footsteps (Angela close) and take over in running the beauty lounge in the future.
I am NVQ level 2&3 qualified in beauty therapy. I am also qualified in a wide range of treatments such as; lash lift and tint, eyebrow lamination, Gel, Biab and acrylic nails, spray tans, universal contour wrap, facials, massages, waxing, manicures and pedicures.

I love working at the beauty lounge and with my 5 years of experience i have gained a large client base who i appreciate so much and love doing their treatments.
